I messed up my ESA form because I was dehydrated and panicked I made a mess of it but still sent it off after my care worker filled in part to say all my illnesse was right and true. Anyway now they stopped my carers allowance with no warning. So I am worried now because no letter or phone call and my stress levels are going through the roof. Can anyone advise me as to what to do please.

Hi Daio and welcome
ESA should not affect carers,The person you care for
The person you care for must already get one of these benefits:
- Personal Independence Payment - daily living component
- Disability Living Allowance - the middle or highest care rate
- Attendance Allowance
- Constant Attendance Allowance at or above the normal maximum rate with an Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
- Constant Attendance Allowance at the basic (full day) rate with a War Disablement Pension
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
Has this changed ?
