I know it’s ****.
Did you apply for the winter payment scheme, can’t remember its proper name, with your energy provider?

It’s a payment of up to £140 I think towards your energy bill, paid direct to your energy supplier1

I was thinking the other day that those of us with conditions affected by cold, etc should get a reduced tariff for heating and electricity.1

And the elderly.
but unfortunately I doubt that will ever happen0 -

On the one hand that's good and on the other suggests they don't get enough money then.
If it's not seven days for example.1 -
I tried something like warm homes discount but last 2 years I’ve forgotten to send in the paperwork and it only takes applications certain times of year. Story of my life dealing with mail.1

Maybe it's just state pension or pension credit.
Who knows this winter I might qualify for something I wasn't entitled to this winter.
My memory fails me if it went below freezing for that long.

@debbiedo49
thats what I was trying to remember, I do it online and have a reminder on my phone to apply in September or check with my provider if it’s available.
@whistles,
thats is not fair really , you lose out.
and I think 7 consecutive days is far too long, it didn’t used to be 7 I thought it was 3 days.
i only received 1 payment this winter1 -

This would have been an example of what my life is like if someone doesn't prompt me to do a financial task. I forget. Not important in the grand scheme of things, but it actually is!
Got told I didn't need prompting.2 -
Always count on you @Victoriad for a good laugh2
-
