    Hi there

Have you reported your condition on your uc journal

If you have and provide fit notes your work coach should refer you for the work capability process

You said you have only been on uc since feb 2018 that is over 3 years si it is a long time or was that a typo

They can sanction you if you don't carry out your work commitments
But if you are awaiting assessment they can switch off your work commitments

If you are not happy with your work coach you can request a different one

    Hi @haggetts :)

I'm glad that you seem to have been able to get some advice and support you found helpful.

I looked up Merseyside Employment of Law, and it looks as though they're now called Equality Employment Law. They're a charitable company specialising in HR, Employment Law and Discrimination Law under the Equalities Act 2010. They charge for their services, and reinvest the profit to keep the company going and maintain their free employment advice helpline.

It's worth noting that advice on benefits can, and should, be free of charge. You can use advicelocal.uk to find advice in your local area on
benefits, work, money, housing problems and more.

I'm a little confused over why you were no longer required to look for work. Were you awarded LCWRA?
