Is there any advice about whether to have a paper hearing or to attend the tribunal in person.?

Oral hearings have a far better chance of success.

    Hi GrahamW

Without doubt, attending a tribunal hearing will give you a far higher percentage of success. This give the panel the opportunity to clarify anything by asking you.

The only possible exception is if attending is contrarary to your reason for your claim. In these cases there are other options open that are little known, You can have a telephone hearing, skype is a possibility and in very rare cases the panel can come to your home
