I am wondering if anyone knows any residential care homes for young adults with multiple and profound disabilities. Looking for a lovely placement for my 18 yr old son. Is a wheelchair user. We are in Sussex but will go anywhere for right place.

Welcome to the community, @debydoo
I've found a couple of websites that might make it easier to find a place that you're both happy with:
https://ukcareguide.co.uk/residential-care/
https://www.carehome.co.uk/care_search_results.cfm/searchcountry/UK/searchchtype/younger-adults
I hope these help! Please do get in touch if you have any questions -
Hi would it be a nursing home basis as in total care or is he able to look after his self at all
