PIP tribunal win

Hello all i recently won my PIP tribunal which was a massive relief after 8 months of fighting. PIP have received my tribunal hearing letter but are saying it will go to their decision maker for them to look at. Why does it need to go to a decision maker after the tribunal have decided in my favour? Also was told it can take up to 4 weeks, it’s now been 2 but I really need the back payment as I’ve been struggling financially for 8 months now. Is this normal? And how long should I wait before ringing them again?

DWP have four weeks to decide if they are going to ask judge for a statement of reasons (SOR) for the tribunal's decision but they don't often do that. If you haven't heard in another two weeks, phone DWP again.2
