ESA - do my current payments stop?

Hi I'm on working esa benefit and since June last year waiting to go on support group for health reasons.but as yet still waiting for the Dr to come do home visit. Does this esa in the working one stop in 12 months and have to renew or does it continue and what if I get in support group will I be back paid
