Hi my name is Jane my cousin suffers with severe epilepsy and has had a pip interview for his benefits he does not know when a fit is coming he just Blacks out which has caused him many injuries he also suffers with mental health depression schizophrenia panic attacks and acrophobia he also suffers from asthma and cannot read and write he has been known to take drug overdoses and has been under the mental health since he was little he has a wet room and a raised toilet seat he is also obese and need family members to help him dress his bottom half he will not travel on public transport and cannot cook for himself will he score enough points as losing his money would be devastating thank you

    Not good, of course, to read of your cousin's many difficulties.
    I'm not able to advise on benefits but we have some excellent people here who can and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
    In the meantime you could perhaps try this PIP self-assessment - it may help you understand what the assessors are looking for - and we have other resources available here to which we can introduce you.
    Perhaps you could try the self-assessment and see what that's like, then get back to us with any questions you may have and our advisors can respond.
