I have had bad self esteem pretty much all my life with my disabilities with me being short but I surrounded my self with family and friends who love me. They quickly talked to me and put those thoughts to bed and it made me feel a lot better about myself rather than being short and fat. They made me see that I had to fully embrace my disability and let it control me.

    Hi @fia1998
Great to meet you! I can empathise with what you have said about self-esteem and impairments. I struggled in my teenage years with my self-image and like you I realised that everybody is different, with the help of family.
I like a chat so you don't need to feel shy.
