Hot weather and how it affects muscle tone

Hi my son is 10 and is really struggling in this hot weather we have been having lately. He has quadriplegic spastic cp, he is a wheelchair user. Are there any tips on how to keep him cool thus reducing the muscle spasms? Thank you

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

I use ice packs on my knees/legs as it helps reduce any swelling as well. Are your son's spasms normally controlled?
