I’ve joined because on googling Diverticulitis and PIP/ESA, the site came up and looks informative. I’ve recently undergone colonoscopies and been diagnosed with Diverticular disease. It is the reason I’ve had bouts of stomach cramps and unpredictable bowel movements. It had been severely impinging on my freedom to spontaneously go out, or commit to my working days, in case of a flare up. I’ve applied for PIP as my income has dropped from paid employment to SSP while I’m currently signed off sick. Just wondering if others have made successful claims for this illness. I also suffer from long term Anxiety Disorder, upon which I based the claim. Thanks.
