Hi @kaur, I recently went through this myself, so here's what I actually learned and did.

Diet-wise, I kept it simple: I followed a Mediterranean-style plate. Lots of veggies, beans, oily fish (like salmon), and olive oil. I switched to whole grains (brown rice/pasta) and cut right back on sugary drinks, processed snacks, and red meat.

For supplements, my absolute non-negotiable was 400 mcg of folic acid daily. Start that now; you need it at least 1–3 months before conception. I also took a standard Vitamin D supplement and added an Omega-3 for general reproductive health. If you're over 35 or worried about egg quality, ask your GP about CoQ10, I took it for about 2-3 months before trying.

My tip: don't forget your partner! Sperm health reflects the diet from the previous 3 months, so get them on board too.

    My action plan was:

    1) Book a GP check-up.

    2) Start Folic Acid today.

    3) Make gradual swaps (e.g., whole wheat instead of white), so I didn't burn out.

Wishing you the absolute best of luck on this!
