Hi chippy. I too was on higher rate on dla indefinitely. It's only a couple of months ago that I got a letter telling me that my dla was ending in July and that I had to apply for pips now. Think they must be way behind. Enjoy the dla for as long as you can, i'm sure they won't forget about you. You could hear anytime soon.0

They expect to have all DLA to PIP assessments done by 2019 according to motability.

Like you I thought my daughter would never hear. She was on DLA care and mobility indefinitely. In the past month she has now been awarded PIP enhanced for both care and mobility for 10 years so we can now relax. They will definitely get round to you in the near future. It's just a waiting game. Good luck, I hope you get a happy outcome.1

@Castleford1 I got a text on 2nd July saying they’d got my forms and not heard a peep since. I hate all this waiting around. Xx0

I know Nicknoo, it's pretty nerve wracking. You've just got to hang in there. Good Luck, hope all goes well for you.1

How long do you wait for your appeal to go through with the courts against pip after just getting 8 points in total0
