    Hi,
There's no timescales for any decision. It all depends on backlog in your area. It's normal to wait anything between 2-8 weeks. Some wait 2 weeks, while others wait 8 weeks.

You can ring PIP and ask for a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be as they mostly go with the report. Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer. Good luck.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @Bracken1 and a warm welcome to the community! Sorry to hear you're suffering. The decision to hear back from PIP about a face to face can take between 6-8 weeks so it shouldn't be much longer.

I hope you find the community a supportive place to give and receive advice. You may find the disabled people or physical/ mobility impairments boards useful to look around. Please do get involved and let me know if there is anything else that I can do :)

Hopefully you’ll find out soon enough about what they decided. Feel free to ask any questions here. Please keep us updated. Bear in mind that if you discover any inaccurate information in the reports you need to ask for a mandatory reconsideration immediately. Do not delay doing so. Also draft a letter of complaint about the report. I would contact PIP and request a copy of the assessment report that was written. It will give you a sense of what decision was reached. Hugs.

Hi Bracken, have you requested your acessment report it take about two weeks once requested to arrive this will give you a good Indecation of what your award may, might be. The report should arrive before your award letter. It makes intresting reading and can help if you need or wish to make an appeal over your award, best wishes and keep posting.

    Hello Bracken1

Just to re-iterate what poppy123456 posted that it can take up to 8 weeks for  a decision to be made. If you are successful then of course any PIP award will be backdated.

Please post again when you receive  a decision
