Hi @hadleigh1970, and a warm welcome!

I've removed the documents you shared due to your personal contact details being on there, but I'm really glad to see you've had some good advice from Poppy. Wishing you all the best!

@poppy123456. So the reason that @hadleigh1970 is entitled to the SDP in these circumstances is because he/she got put on the tenancy agreement alongside her parents?

That's correct. If a person shares accommodation with other people and are liable to make payments to the landlord for the rent because they're named on the tenancy agreement then a claim for SDP is possible. It would most likely go to a decision maker before any award is given. If you're thinking of doing this then i'd get further advice before proceeding any further because your circumstances maybe different.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thanks I didn't know that. My friend moved backed in with his sister and his SDP was removed from his ESA. His sister rents from the council. He is just wondering if he asks the council to be made a joint tenant with his sister then will he get his SDP back?
