PIP assessments - is this normal?

Hi am new to the community. I have just had my pip assessment at home. What an awful experience, though the assessor himself was very indifferent. He wanted to know when i last left the house, how i travel, when i last washed. And i gave him a copy of my mri scan done two weeks ago but he didn't take it. I asked him what his opinion was of course told nothing. Is it normal to be asked when last leave house, washed etc. I am so distressed after it. Any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated

Steve51 thank you. I am somewhat of a technophobe and always struggle to find my way around sites in general. Would i need to post my question in the pip thread specifically  if so how would i do so pleasep Thanks in advance.

Yes it is normal given that you have had a home assessment. If you admit to travelling, then that could indicate all sorts of capabilities. Likewise with washing yourself could indicate that you are conscious of your appearance and could be said to be independent.
