Thumbs subluxating

I posted this yesterday but cannot find it now, so perhaps I wrote it and neglected to post it.
Forgive me if this is a repetition.
My thumb bones have eroded to the point where the bones come out of their sockets.
I have to manipulate them to get them back into place. Since I have no rotator cuffs left, bone is rubbing on bone and sometimes the bones come out of place and land on a nerve.
Has anyone had this sort of thing happen I have to wear braces to keep my thumbs in place.
Loss of function in my hands is so difficult and depressing. Has anyone any advice?
Thank you.

Oh that sounds really difficult to manage! What have your doctors said? Are you having any physio or rehab to help with the loss of function?0

Yes, it is very difficult and will only get worse over time. There is nothing to be done except braces to hold the thumbs in place. Physio couldn't help
Thank you for responding!1
