Congratulations coming off the alcohol well done to you.
I am eleven years clean and it is a struggle every day. Reason I am here on this forum to help and support others like myself.
Have been alcoholic thirty years. Have mental health and disability.

I always and so does every body in the community never ever free of realising the side effects, pain, depression and other mental health issues.
Add to that the physical. Yet we all of us in the community can try to say how are we today and how can we my favourite phase on the forum. Sunshine down the line to others who need a shoulder, listening ear.
I know that the funding for addiction especially alcohol as been cut and centres shut. Due to council budgets and reorganisations of agencies.
All I can add is those who have followed the path to recovery like me and you can hopefully benefit those still suffering. Give them time and heal. Offer hope and some strategies to cope.
Some thing I do all the time. Been what may it is never easy.
With patience, tolerance always and be there anytime. Send a prayer.
Pleasure to meet you. Keep in touch.
Take care
