Hi @lea05! Welcome to the online community

Hello @lea05 Thank you for kind words. No not really just an ordinary gent helping those in need and those who need a helping hand to free them selves from this blight of addiction.
I always and so does every body in the community never ever free of realising the side effects, pain, depression and other mental health issues.
Add to that the physical. Yet we all of us in the community can try to say how are we today and how can we my favourite phase on the forum. Sunshine down the line to others who need a shoulder, listening ear.
I know that the funding for addiction especially alcohol as been cut and centres shut. Due to council budgets and reorganisations of agencies.
All I can add is those who have followed the path to recovery like me and you can hopefully benefit those still suffering. Give them time and heal. Offer hope and some strategies to cope.
Some thing I do all the time. Been what may it is never easy.
With patience, tolerance always and be there anytime. Send a prayer.
Pleasure to meet you. Keep in touch.
Take care
