    Hi

Did you ever find any information?

My daughter and I are disabled, and really need to move but don't have any savings/funds/family!

    Take care

This thread is over 3 years old and the member hasn't been active for all that time.
If you claim for help with the rent through housing benefit or housing element of Universal Credit then you can apply for a dicretionary housing payment to help with any rent in advance. No idea if this would cover actual moving costs though. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/claiming-discretionary-housing-payments/claiming-discretionary-housing-payments#what-a-dhp-can-cover
You can also use google to have some quotes from "man with a van" i've used them a few times myself over the years and they don't charge a fortune. However, you would need to pack all your contents yourself with this, at least i did when i've moved in the past.

Sorry the OP hasn't been back since Oct 2018, have you had other quotes last time we moved it was 40 miles and cost less than £400.
