Hi,You can't claim this payment back unfortunately. There's lot of cars available without any advance payments, it's your choice if you decide to choose a car with an advance payment.Other benefits you can claim will totally depend on your circumstances. Do you receive daily living part of PIP as well as the mobility part? Do you live alone or classed as living alone? Does anyone claim carers allowance for looking after you?1

@talljenn
Advance payment deposits are usually only paid back at the end of the 3 year contract, providing, of course, the vehicle is in good condition, when you return it.0 -
The advance payment is NOT paid back but you do receive £250 if the car is returned in good condition after the 3 year rental.

This is incorrect information. Deposits are not paid back at the end of the lease. Good condition bonus's have now been changed, they are now £500 instead of the £250. This changed a few weeks ago. https://www.motability.co.uk/information-for-customers/cars-and-wheelchair-accessible-vehicles-customer-area/good-condition-bonusTarbatness said:@talljenn
