I have been awarded the enhanced rate of pip because of osteoarthritis in my right knee and a head condition called Arnold chiari malformation

    Hi @Tra1976

Sorry to ask but are you on “DLA/PIP” ???

There are plenty of good 2nd hand scooter’s around.

You can get lots of small folding scooter’s at good prices.

That way can save you a lot of money in the long run!!!!!!

Have you spoken to your GP about being referred to the NHS Wheelchair Services? They can assess what type of mobility chair/scooter best suits your needs. You can read more about it here

    Hi @Tra1976

Yes that’s the big problem with “Motabilty”

You end up using all of your “money”

I did try it a few years ago. But it was far too “expensive”

So I ended up sending it back any I reinstated my “money”

As you are looking for a “boot scooter” you can pickup a good “2nd hand” for not to much.

Try the selling sites on facebook for your area, or gumtree often have them for sale, again use your area.
