Hi @ellie632
Good Afternoon it’s great to meet you today.
I’m very very sorry to hear about your current problems with your “housing”
I will pass your post onto one of our “expert team”
Hi @Debbie_Scope
Can you please help me with this new post???? -
Hi @ellie632 a nice welcome to you , i am so sorry to hear what you are going through , is it private accommodation ,
-
Sanctuary housing association
they came out to see if they could help but they said they can’t help us
I have tried everything now I’m very frustrated -
there are also other housing sites you can go on as well as the one your on but you do the swaps yourself
-
No one wants to move out of a bungalow or house for a first floor flat
-
hope you get what you are looking for
-
Thank you hope u r well to
-
thank you

Hi. Have your home site got an immediately available section? These are empty properties that you can move into very quickly and no need for a swap. Are you restricting your search area too much? Have you got your independent living advisor on board? That's how I got my place. She told me about someone who desperately wanted to move to my complex as she has family there. This person was not online so I wouldn't have known about her otherwise. Hope this is of some help x

Hi, Sounds like disability discrimination. Has anyone suggested you ask them to make “Reasonable Adjustments”. Perhaps a Solicitor may be able to advise you?

If you have access to a computer look up:LawWorks
https://www.lawworks.org.uk/legal-advice-individuals
You can search for a Law centre near to you, where you can get assistance with Benefits.
I found 15 Law centres within 10 miles of where I live.

@ellie632 from what you have written am I right in assuming you are in general needs housing?
Sanctuary Housing has a supported living group within its organisations where you may get better results. You can contact them at https://www.sanctuary-supported-living.co.uk/contact-us
Don't let the title put you off, as the amount of support you will get will depend on your needs. I don't know if they will have property suitable for you and your family, but if you don't ask you will never know.As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.
As part of a community I helped to create change! -
I have asked sanctuary housing to rehouse me in suitable accommodation but they said they can’t help I live in Somerset area but would be willing to move Wiltshire, Bristol, etc
