Hello i really need some advice. I won my pip appeal on the 15th of this month after months and months of waiting for my appeal hearing. I've now received a letter stating that the lady who attended my hearing from pip is appealing the judges decision has anybody heard of this before. I'm worried now that I've only just won it but now they will take it off me. Many thanks

Hi @woodster1978, and a warm welcome to the community!
I'm sorry to hear this and that you're feeling worried. Often all you can do in these situations is wait, but you may be interested in reading this past thread from somebody who had a similar experience. It's impossible to predict anybody's outcome, but I hope it helps to know that you're not alone.
Do keep us updated and we'll advise where we can!1 -
Hi and welcomeThe DWP can only appeal a tribunal decision on an error in law. To do so they will apply for a statement of reason from the judge0

Hello and thank you for your replies. The letter says they have requested a sor I'm just so confused. It states in the letter that they could want to appeal. I'm just worried I've finally got what I think I deserve for them to take it straight back off me x0
