How can we fight to make housing association flat more accessible?

Hi,
we live in a Housing Association Flat the Shower was installed for the needs of the previous Tenant with the controls on the side wall so she could sit at the far end. The Shower space is narrow and my Husband struggles with the space constantly banging himself on the control, I myself bent down suddenly with pain from broken Ankle and hit my Head. We asked could they move the control to the obvious place where everyone else’s are and they said no, we asked again and they said no but they would move the riser which won’t cure the problem. We have been told it’s about the cost, do you know where we could go from here?
Regards.

Thank you very much, I shall check out the info. Beginning to wonder if we made the right choice living in Sheltered Housing, heating and hot water went off this morning and reported it straight away. It’s 3pm now, no sign of Plumber and it’s getting cold, it sucks getting ?.0

Hello @JjCcVv Thanks for letting us know about your heating is there anything we can do for you. Just concerned had my own story similar to yours.
Live in a Housing Association.. Have to tell you hot water in bathroom malfunctioning. Had little or no hot water.
Struggled to have a bath in sometimes cold water. Had to use a kettle.
Somethings not right is it. Got it repaired I forget to add and stills irks me.
What is the delay here and why so long.
Why my concern. Hope I can be supportive. Hope that you try to keep warm. Have you got warm clothes and layers, gloves, scarves . A ideal solution for me was the duvet of the bed or a blanket. If that helps.
Have you anything like soup or porridge to warm you up .
Always the delay in these sorts of incidents and mishaps and never understand why.
All I can say keep in touch.
Always here if I can help.
Pleasure to meet you.
Take care
