PIP with senior manager

Hi, spoke to Pip again today.
They said my paperwork was with a senior manager after being with a case manager.
Any ideas why this would be?

    When did you make your claim ?
    it could be a routine audit
    Sometimes if backpayments are due a senior manager has to sign off on it,

    End of July I made the claim.
    The person I spoke to said that he had never seen this before. ?
