PIP Tribunal Short Notice Hearing

Just curious if anyone has asked for short notice hearing for PIP Tribunal, where possible to reduce waiting times, and what they ended up waiting altogether from the moment they submitted to the tribunal and how much notice they got in different areas of the country?
I'm fortunate enough that I can take last minute hearings, but havent found much or anything online about people's experiences with them.

It’s not a wise idea to accept one. It usually happens when a session list collapses and HMCTS need to slot cases in in order to avoid pulling the session completely. It means there is every possibility your case will be heard by a tribunal who only received the appeal bundle on the day of the hearing. Is that how prepared you want them to be?
