A staff member didn't seem keen on taking me down in my wheelchair to the entrance
Hi.
I have an office job one day a week. I can walk, but i use my wheelchair while i am there. It is a wheelchair someone pushes me in. I was born with Scoliosis. My sister was unavailable to pick me up one week, so a staff member needed to do it. She didn't seem like she wanted to do it and said really i should have someone to pick me up in the wheelchair and take me down to reception when i finish work and go home. I thought that was wrong, i don't see why she can't do it. She did take me down, but i don't think she was right to say what she said. What do you think?

Hi@Sarah1984
Welcome to the community!
Have you thought about getting support from the Access to work grant scheme?
That might just be the solution to your problem as you wouldn't have to ask people that might not want to help.
I wish you all the best and please let us know how you are getting on.
Kind regards
Pia
