Hi I received my ESA renewal last month and was all fine as far as I can tell, then on tues I informed them that the child maintenance was going to increase slightly due to my ex earning more last year, I also rung up to apply for the pip forms as I’ve been advised too, today I received a new renewal telling me I’m intitled to £0 living costs and income guarantee hasn’t even appeared on this statement although they have still kept me in the support group.
I don’t get it as I was told kids maintenance wouldn’t effect the ESA amount awarded to me!

Hi,You'll need to ring DWP Monday to ask what's going on because they are the only ones that can tell you. Child maintenance payments aren't classed as income when calculating means tested benefits.0
