Hi I'm new on here I care for my 21 year old son & my partner who has epilepsy my son has social anxiety & asperger's I need some help son cant seem to cope with any thing was with mencap put his anxiety got the better off him & now been taken off the course every one just drops him he will stay in is room all day if he doesn't do something doctor just fill with happy pills sorry for the long rant I've just had such a bad day any advice would be fantastic

Can I ask what avenues you've tried for support for your son? Have you been in touch with the National Autistic Society. If you want to pose any specific questions or have a read of other people's experiences, we have an Autism and Aspergers discussion group here, as well as one for parents and carers.
