Work assessment group change and universal credit

I'm currently waiting for the date of yet another face to face to arrive after yet another work assessment form.
And wondering if anyone moved down from support to work group recently knows if they are calling that a change of circumstance and putting you onto universal credit as a new claim because of it.

Every review I get thrown into work group even though I never had a job in my life and currently can't get on public transport without help..
Then my family lodge an appeal rather than let me wear myself out trying to do their work tasks..

But this time I'm worried that they will put me on universal credit and I'll loose the protected payments we were supposed to get even if I win another appeal..

So I wondered if anyone had been through that  and put on uc or if its still a simple group change in esa..

Thsnks

Hello @Friendlyghost, just to reassure you: even if you are moved into the work group, it won't trigger a change to Universal Credit.

    I was told it would..
And then even if I was put back in uc support group I would have lost half what I get.
And that would make things kinda hard..

Wish they would get through their head I'm not scrounging. I searched for work when I could walk and get on transport  and was told I'm not good enough because I'm disabled.

I did as they said and stopped doing anything social which they said included anyone at my house who was not a carer. once I couldn't travel enough to work
    For 7 years...
Poke my head out into the world for 1 art course that I mobility scoot to and get told if I can do that I can work full time...

    Sigh...

Hi @Friendlyghost, I'm sorry you felt like you couldn't socialise or have anyone to your house, that must have been very isolating.
Do you have a date for your assessment through yet?
