Hi all just a quick update, i have rang dwp today to get an update on my claim for pip and all though i havnt got the letter yet the lady on the phone has confirmed i have been awarded enhanced on daily living and on mobility. But i am confused with the lenght of award, the assessor put to be reviewed in 2 years but the the on the phone told me its till 2021 so unless im mistaken if its reviewed a year in advance surely i should of got it for 3 as now i will only get 12 months money. She also said they are looking into reducing the reviews to 6 months but how true it is im not sure.

Hi,Great news on the award. You really should wait until you receive the award letter and then you'll be able to see for yourself what length of time it is. Sometimes DWP advisers to get the information wrong. Hopefully it will only be a day or two until you receive the letter. As for the reviews changing to 6 months before then there's been no confirmation of this as yet.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
