Hi what is procedure for going back on esa basic why waiting for appeal please

Hi,Providing you haven't claimed universal credit then once the Tribunal accept your appeal you can then go back onto assessment rate for ESA but you'll need sick/fit notes from your GP dated from when you were found fit for work. Of course before the Tribunal request you have to go through the mandatory reconsideration process.0

You will need to self fund, there is no other benefit while you wait

If you're claiming housing benefit then you will need to fill out a nil income form and then the housing benefit will continue. If you're unable to manage without money then UC may have to be claimed but that's a decision only you can make.Do be aware that it could be several weeks without money.0

There's also a 5 week wait before you receive any money when you first claim UC but you can ask for a advance payment but this will need to be paid back from future UC payments.
