so got an appointment today at my local cab office to help fill in the mine field of pip forms for my first ever application

HI,

Make sure there's as much information as possible about how your conditions affect you. You should also add 2-3 examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.

Send relevant evidence with the form because they very rarely contact anyone for this.
