not 100% sure, so was hoping one the board guru's commented tbh, as while i've been assessed and there again in a months time, i'm not 100% sure either of the overall scales used, or the terms, as tbh i was just given the data myself, with little in the way on anyone explaining to me, what any of it meant either, i'm sorry to say, and as nobody is around alot to ask, i also just left after the assessment0

Hi
I have reviewed the link provided.
These are all US based pain score studies, in the UK they should be considered, with caution.
I have assumed that you have undertaken the assessment, as part of a Pain Management Programme.
If that is the case, then the results should have been explained to you both in detail.
If proper feedback is not provided to patients, then the quality of such assessments, should be called into account.
Best wishes0 -
Hi atlas46 I went to the hospital about my arthritis, whilst being asked loads of questions I thought she was asking the questions and linking them to my arthritis?
until I got my report back on Wednesday.
i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia!!
this didn’t even go through my mind ? didn't even know what it was?
she didn’t say anything about the pain clinic as I’m already under a pain specialist for my back.
defo haven’t got a clue about all these number !!!0 -
Hi @maggieomx
Who was the female that conducted your assessment?
How on earth she comes to such a conclusion, based on a US dodgy study.
Perhaps you might wish to consult your GP, with your assessment report, to see if he/she can explain it further.
Keep us informed.1 -
Contact the GP. Ask for a referral to a pain specialist. Take a copy of the report.0
