If I had to appeal DLA does this mean I'll have to appeal PIP?

Hi my name is jayne I've been getting DAL but just received a letter inviting me to claim PIP I had to go to court of appeal for my DAL I won the appeal but the person who assessed seemed to be very nice but awarded me nil points, just wondered if anyone as had the same experience with PIP?

Hi @molly1961, people have very mixed experiences with the PIP process in terms of having to appeal or just getting the award straightaway. I hope yours goes smoothly!
Please do bare in mind that DLA and PIP are different benefits an therefore have different criteria's to claim. For PIP it is about how you are affected rather than what the diagnosis is. Here are the PIP descriptors which may help when filling in the form.
