If I had to appeal DLA does this mean I'll have to appeal PIP?

Hi @molly1961, people have very mixed experiences with the PIP process in terms of having to appeal or just getting the award straightaway. I hope yours goes smoothly!

Please do bare in mind that DLA and PIP are different benefits an therefore have different criteria's to claim. For PIP it is about how you are affected rather than what the diagnosis is. Here are the PIP descriptors which may help when filling in the form.

We have lots of member on the community who have been through this process so please do let us know if you need any help with anything!

    Very best of luck :)
