Mandatory Reconsideration

Morning all.
i had someone from my housing association help me to complete a mandatory reconsideration form. After reading it through after he left, I don’t think there is enough detail in it so I want to add to it. I’ve just phoned DWP to request another form to be sent to me but I was told that that a form is not required to be completed and to just send a letter stating the descriptors that you want to challenge. Is this now correct. I’m puzzled as he came with a form. TIA

    HI,

You don't need a form to request the MR, just write a letter stating where you think you should have scored those points and your reasons why. With those real life examples added to it.

Do be aware that you have 1 month from the date of the decision.

    Thank you.
although the decision for my award was made on 21st May it only received my award letter notifying me of the outcome on 26th June so will be one month from 21st May or 26th June?
