I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
My daughter has a social worker too but i found them completely useless when claiming any benefits.Really speaking the only person that knows your son is yourself but face to face advice from an advice agency never goes a miss. Even more so if you can get representation from either welfare rights or a law centre.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. Hello @Donna_534. I'm really sorry to hear the MR didn't go your son's way.
As Poppy said, your next step would be to take it to tribunal. I'd really recommend taking a look at the links Hart shared earlier in the conversation and focusing your appeal on the descriptors that reflect your son's situation. Unfortunately, there are lots of things that they don't take into account for work capability assessments, so it's important to focus on the descriptors.
Please let us know if there are any you don't understand or if we can help at all.Community Manager
