hi, thankyou for accepting me on this site. I would just like to say I have just been diagnosed with cops earlier today but have also got broncitesatis which I have had for 60yrs which I get pip for at the standard rate so I would like to know if I can claim for copd as well as I am struggling walking and daily every day things.

Hi @JanGoa and welcome to the community!
As you'll know from your previous PIP application, PIP is awarded based on how your condition affects your daily life, rather than diagnosis. So if you think your condition has worsened, you could ask to make a change in circumstances. However, you should be aware that this usually triggers a reassessment which can put your current award at risk.

Hi,If you are over 65 and don't already have a mobility award then you won't be able to claim this now. If you have a standard mobility award then you won't be able to claim Enhanced mobility.
