In honour of World Photography Day 2019, we'd love to see some of your favourite photos from 2019. These photos can be personal, from your own collection, or just something you've seen while browsing the web.

One of mine is this shot from the recent Perseid Meteor Shower. I love photos of space and related phenomenon. They've filled me with wonder from as early as I can remember.

What are you favourite photos from 2019 and why?

A caricature of my two airbrushed by a street artist in Florida '93. He's now 39 and she's 37 - never seen them looking so happy together.

This is one of my favourite photos of my mum and I. It was taken a few years ago while we were sat on a beach. It was the first time in two years that I’d not taken my wheelchair on a day trip.

This is from where I put up my bird feeders. I had the feeders for many years. Imagine my surprise when I saw these!

They are a type of parrot called parakeets. They even tried to unhook the bird feeder! I only saw them for a few days, after that they never returned.
