I first claimed, Assessment period: 21 November to 20 December 2017

This means that your waiting period is as follows...
August 21st to September 20th ..doesn't count because you reported the health condition half way through the assessment period.

So September 21st to October 20th...1 month
    October 21st to November 20th.... 2 months
    November 21st to December 20th ... 3 months.

LCWRA starts from assessment period 21st December to 20th January and first payment will be in January so DWP are correct with their dates. You can't backdate a fit note when you didn't report the health condition until the 10th August so backdating the fit note makes no difference unfortunately and you're not entitled to any backdated money.

The LCWRA element is also an ongoing award until a decision's been made on your next review and reviews can take place anytime from 3 months.

    Hope this helps.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
