Hi I am 25 year old man who was moderate learning difficulties how would I go about getting diagnosed.

    A very warm welcome.

    You could ask for a copy of your medical records from your GP, they might hold something.

    To get a clear view about any LD, you would need to ask your GP for a referral to a LD clinical psychologist, there a number of simple tests that can be carried out.

    The main one would be a formal IQ test.

    I went through this process with a family member a few years ago and was of great assistance.
