The National Careers Service have some information, that you might find useful in regards to getting into music, including entry routes, what sort of courses you can do to upskill yourself and much more. What about working in a music instrument shop? Alternatively you could always research requirements to be a music teacher! What sort of music do you like?
There are bands all over Britain. The professional music making industry is tough like the professional acting world, you need to be a really thick skinned person to deal with it. -
