So the upshot of the care charge is we have to pay £39 a week...we`ll go with that.
It seems it has been made because of my respite fund, which is extra to daily care charges....
Today`s visit from a Social Worker went well. She did an in depth assessment and agrees that hubby and I definitely need more help....urgently. So fingers crossed.
Had a letter to say DWP have all the info they need for my PIP claim and will let me know their decision in due course.

That sounds like a good result. My decision letter came a few days after I got the letter you mentioned. Good luck with getting a good result there too!
