Anybody got advice on managing pain in back and legs trying to keep mobile but very difficult pain killers dont seem to help thank you

I am sorry to hear that your pain killers are not helping with you back and leg pain. Are you able to visit your GP to discuss some alternative medications?

Been on all painkillers that pain clinic recomended some days cant walk because of pain

Welcome to the community @Meredith46! I'm sorry to hear your pain is not managed at the moment. Have you ever seen a physio? This might help you to control the pain.

Seen physio had injections had epidural nothing works been told up to thirty weeks at least wait to see my consultant

Oh this must be so frustrating for you @Meredith46! I find that epsom salt can help my pain, I put them in a hot bath.

No my grandson inlaw has a bulging disc pressing on a nerve and cant work and he cant get emergency appointment some times I cant walk because of pain.couldnt walk from xmas day untill february because of pain

Cant get in bath once in cant get out so have had bath took out and walk in shower put in even got a seat so can sit down and get showered

Sorry yu are suffering. Do heat pads on the area help. I started to get back pain from standing over 7 hours at my job. Iv always been fit but pain more frequent now

Tried heat pads on my back but dont really work trying sprays at moment because pain not only in back but down both legs as well cant bend to reach my right foot at all and effects my walking got to use a rollerator to help me walk

I joined yesterday trying to find help and tips from people who are going through the same thing..
my doctors have just been giving me stronger and stronger painkillers, which barely touch the problem..
have you found that anything in particular helps you? What sort of meds are you on also is your walking and abilities to do stuff even at home been affected?

Yes joan c my every day living is affected like you say just stronger painkillers I use heat spray on a morning just to help me get going have you tried them I even tried cbd oil and balm but that didnt help

Yes had one for years got it for migraines but doesnt work on my back
