Linked to my peanut butter one in Paffuto10s post today, I also like peanut butter and coleslaw sandwiches.. My dad liked cheese and strawberry jam.

So not your conventional cheese & tomato or egg & cress;

What are your weird and wonderful sandwich fillers?

I had a whole roast dinner in a sandwich once including roast potatoes! At a fair type event similar to above! It was interesting but I liked it.

My mum enjoys cheese and jam sandwiches too, @Franstrahan.  My dad likes to put his fish on a sandwich too.  Beans and cheese are quite nice on a toasted sandwich.

Dont know if you got your chips with curry sauce, but made me think of chip butties. Ages since I had one. Not an unusual sandwich really. But nice.

    It depends @Franstrahan

I love to eat ham and cheese sandwiches. At Christmas we have leftover turkey sandwiches for dinner. I also love to munch on a tuna and cucumber sandwich too. My favorite filling is ham. My husband loves roast sandwiches as well. I am also particular to a egg sandwich or a chicken sandwich.

Egg & onion sandwiches are a good one, with mayonnaise. I like peanut butter & onion sandwiches too. Raw onion of course, in both.

My favourite sandwich would be (don't have it often, mainly because of cost)

Chicken, bacon, cheese, salad, mayo and a few crushed crisps.

Which is why my name is Paffuto.
    Italian for plump!!  :D

Hi all ??. I don't really have any weird sandwich concoctions, but I do like banana with cinnamon either as a sandwich or on toast.
    Or
Mashed banana with melted choc over the top with a wee bit of cinammon and chili powder mixed through the chocolate ?

I may well try them. I do have peanut butter and banana sandwiches occassionally.
Both of your suggestions sound delicious.

Hello @Franstrahan   If I can get them Turkey Sausage do an Italian style sandwich.

In Italy they do Turkey Sausage sandwich, in a hot dog bun with Roasted Red Peppers out of Jar.

Grill Turkey Sausages slice them up length ways.  Add Roasted Red Peppers out of a jar sliced and thinly cut.

I adapted that did the above, added mayo with chili pesto mixed and spread it on the Sausages and Red Pepper.

Wrapped it up in tin foil and cut it up in half. Plenty of wipes needed.

Hi @thespiceman    I used to love turkey sausages when Bernard Mathews did them but they're impossible to find now.  Where do you get yours?

Hello @exdvr   Thank you for asking. Used to go to Italian deli.

Also ASDA sells a range of Turkey Sausages with Chilli in them.

I buy Chicken ones from TESCO.

Another sandwich I make with Cooked Chicken Sausages.  Add in as above.

    Mayo, Chilli Pesto, Sundried tomatoes.

Look on line supermarket websites worth looking at.

    Hope that helps.

    Please take care.
