Hi.  How long does it take for a decision from when I had the letter from dwp saying they have everything they need this was two weeks ago. Thank you.

    Mine took 6 weeks ...although i was told it could take up to 8 weeks ..

    HI,

    There's no timescales. The letter you received is a standard letter they send to everyone and i really have no idea why they continue to send them because it doesn't really mean anything at all. A decision can still take 8 weeks and more from when you receive that letter.

    Ring to request a copy of the report, that will tell you what the decisions is likely to be because they mostly go with it. You'll still have to wait for the decision though.

    That's a standard letter with standard wording that says the exact same thing on every letter. I'm not sure why you would think it will rock the boat. Simply requesting a copy of the assessment report, won't make any difference to their decision.
