Hi all, My appeal for PIP has been lodged. Can I ask for help in what evidence to send through to court? My mandatory reconsideration notice? Thanks

    HI,

If you've already requested the Tribunal then the MR decision letter should have been sent with that.

The evidence you should send should state how your conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors. Remember that PIP isn't about a diagnosis. If you've already sent evidence previously to DWP to support your claim then there's no need to send it again because DWP will send everything to HMCTS and you'll receive everything in the bundle.

In your submission you should state which descriptors you think apply to you and your reasons why and add 2-3 real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.

Are you appearing in person? This will give you the best chance of a decision in your favour. The only downside is that backlogs are huge in most areas and lots of people are waiting about a year for a hearing date. Good luck.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thankyou for all your help. I have already applied for the tribunal online and I wasn’t asked to send MR so I haven’t.
