PIP end date changed and now on going?

Hello i'm christine i wonder if someone can help me with an answer in September i was awarded pip enhanced for care and standard for mobility with an end date of July 2023 i am 66 years old and have state pension then today i had a letter saying they had looked at it again ( i never asked them to) everything in the award is the same except where before it had an end date it now says on going does anybody know what this means please as if worries me that it can be removed from me at anytime thank you

HI and welcome,I'm one of the community champions here at scope.The letters means that because you are now state pension age the your length of award has been increased to 10 years with a light touch review at the end, instead of until July 2023.
