I think it is really hard for a full time wheelchair user to access gyms and also the weight loss industry, i have approached both SW and WW and neither provide sit on scales for wheelchair users, I approached about 4 or 5 bootcamp style companies in my area, not could cater for a wheelchair user
In most gyms there is only one piece of upper body cadio machinery, (arm bike) and in places like PureGym there isnt even that -
Hi @Garza
I'm a full-time wheelchair user too and I have encountered the same problems that you have mentioned. I know we shouldn't have to but can you transfer from your wheelchair at all?
I found a chain of gyms that have really helped me although I do have to transfer on to equipment.

Good Morning everyone. I am a new member recliner chair or wheelchair bound. I have difficulty walking and need to exercise the muscles in my legs to make them stronger.
I thought that a pedal machine would help. Has anyone ever used one or got ideas how to make my legs stronger please. Any ideas gratefully received.
