I am not religious. I don’t dislike religion though and don’t sympathise with people who do dislike it. I am interested in all of the religions. I had to study about religion for my philosophy A level and it was good.

Gladiator, because it has brilliant music and acting and fantastic battle scenes. Also, the battle scenes are done without displaying any really graphic violence (the film is only a 15 certificate) which I think is a good achievement.

Why did you come to this forum, what is the first thing you posted (other than an introduction)?

    German!
In my Year 9 report my thoroughly unsympathetic teacher gave me an F for achievement and 5 for effort (1 being for most effort and 5 for the least). Well, the joke's on her - I was trying really hard! :disappointed:

What would be the title of your autobiography?

    Random gravity checks.

It was an inside joke that I often fell to check gravity was still there.  :D

If you could have a one on one interview with a celebrity, who would it be and why?

I don't know that any celebrities would want to speak to me haha :D but I'll say Stephen Fry because I think he is interesting and seems like a decent person. If I could choose a dead person it would be Winston Churchill for many reasons but one is that I share his taste in drinks. :)

What is one thing you would like to do if time/money/disability were not an issue? (For me it is learn to fly a plane.)

I would fulfill my dream, buy an old farm or such and start an animal/pet-rescue & care-home. Would give home to every single unwanted pet in area working together with vet-students and colleges and well anyone who would want to come over ? Also would have a housing unit for homeless people who could work there for their accommodation if they want ? Too big plans for this size head (and wallet unfortunately)

    OK question for next...

Who is your hero? (can be a relative, a public figure or even a cartoon character ?)

'Awakenings' - based on a book by Oliver Sacks, with Robert De Nero & Robin Williams (playing a great serious role)

That is a very difficult question as I love cheese! I think it will be Neufchatel, it is a French soft cheese, really nice  :)

Things that fly around my head like low flying birds and butterflies.  Lovely to look at, but if they come near me then I'm off!   :open_mouth:

What is your favourite country to visit?

Austria - I've been ski-ing twice. After going to Oberammergau to see the Passion Play, we stayed in Innsbruck & visited Salzburg, before going on to Venice. Also holidayed in Kitzbuhl, when they were celebrating the town being 700 years old. I like the people, & them letting me practice my German, even tho a few thought I was Dutch due to my bad accent!  ;)

Where is your favourite place in the UK?

Where would you go and what would you do if you could travel back in time for a few hours?

@66Mustang - My son can see the River Swale just a few feet away from his lounge. I'm just a little further back....he's my early flood warning system! :)

Putting my hand down on a bee that was the same colour as a rug my mum had at the time.  I think I was about 3 and nobody could understand why I was screaming the place down?!  I guess it must have been really sore, but I lived to tell the tale, lol!

I quite like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it's one of few I've actually seen.

Who did you speak to most recently?
